That's the way you take a shower on a "bush safari"...The mobile safari camps are quite comfortable and the tents are traditional "safari style" with camp beds and bedding. Each tent has an attached shower and toilet. The shower water is heated on campfire and the shower bucket is filled with hot water by the camp crew. The sounds of the wild animals during the night are unforgettable!

Eternal as the skies

EyeReport, United States - Arizona:

A state located in the southwestern region of the United States. It is also part of the western United States and the mountain west. The capital and largest city is Phoenix. The second largest city is Tucson, followed in size by eight Phoenix metropolitan area cities: Mesa, Glendale, Chandler, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Tempe, Peoria, Surprise and then by Flagstaff in Coconino County.

Arizona is the 48th state and last of the contiguous states admitted to the Union, achieving statehood on February 14, 1912. Arizona is noted for its desert climate, exceptionally hot summers, and mild winters, but it also features pine forests and mountain ranges in the northern high country, with much cooler weather than in the lower deserts.

Arizona is one of the Four Corners states. It borders New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and California, touches Colorado, and has a 389-mile (626 km) international border with the states of Sonora and Baja California in Mexico. It is the largest landlocked U.S. state by population. In addition to the Grand Canyon, many other national forests, parks, and monuments are located in the state, while more than a quarter[7] of its territory is Federal Trust Land which serves as the home of the Navajo Nation, the Hopi tribe, the Tohono O'odham, Apache and Yaqui people and various Yuman tribes, such as the Yavapai, Quechan and Hualapai.

EyeReport, United States - Arizona:

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction in Arizona near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West area of the main canyon. USGS topographic maps show the elevation at the Skywalk's location as 4,770 ft (1,450 m) and the elevation of the Colorado River in the base of the canyon as 1,160 ft (350 m), and they show that the height of the precisely vertical drop directly under the skywalk is between 500 ft (150 m) and 800 ft (240 m).

Commissioned and owned by the Hualapai Indian tribe, it was unveiled March 20, 2007, and opened to the general public on March 28, 2007. It is accessed via the Grand Canyon West Airport terminal or a 120-mile (190 km) drive from Las Vegas, which includes a 10-mile (16 km) stretch of dirt road which is currently under development. The Skywalk is east of Meadview and north of Peach Springs with Kingman being the closest major city.
