There is nothing quite like Christmas in New York. Nothing. Never mind that you might not be American, that you might not even celebrate Christmas. Just to see the enormity of decorations this city has on every street corner, in every window, hanging on every item of nature baffles the average mind. Sure Times Square has its artificial daylight, St. Marks its everyday crowds of tattoo and fortune teller seekers. But nothing topples how far the city will go to brighten (literally) the holidays.
