Be Still....

When the storms of life rages and you feel like you are in an open sea of trials

“Be still”

When everything around you seem to be going wrong no matter how hard you try

“Be still”

When the obvious signs are showing signals for you to throw in the towels

“Be still”

When you feel you are all alone and the world is against you and there is nowhere to retreat “Be Still”

Be still and sit in silence.

Be still and count your blessings.

Be still and know that God has written your story long before you arrived.

Be still and embrace the beauty of life and find joy in the simple pleasures that surrounds you.

When it seems like all hope is lost and your wings are tattered, battered and torn

Be still and spread your wings because just as the waves always washes and cleanses the shoreline watch the master as he washes you and make you whole again.

Just be Still!

PS: I wrote this for my dear friend Cheryl Love always
