The Little Cottage

The little cottage nestled by the brook

Has all the treasures stored in a little nook

And all the children danced and played

Till tired eyes signals their good byes

The little cottage planted by the brook

Have never been awaken have never been shook

Silently it sits and waits until all the children are done with their play

Then moonlight shines and the owls come out

The little cottage creeks and wails at the sound of the night wind

And sits patiently awaiting  the new dawn to break

when all the children will come back to play.
